Dear NAVHDA Toronto Members,


We hope you, your families, and your dogs are keeping well and safe during these
uncertain times as we navigate this global COVID-19 pandemic. We believe that the health and safety of our members is of utmost importance. We have been keenly following the new rules mandated by the provincial government in regard to social distancing. As we move into Phase 2 of organizational re-opening, we are excited to report that, under the condition of new social distancing protocols, NAVHDA Toronto is approved to commence summer training and fall testing events for the 2020 season.

NAVHDA Toronto Training dates:
June 13th, July 11th, August 8th & August 29th

New NAVHDA Toronto Training Protocol:
● Maximum 10 people at training event
● All participants must pre-register and be confirmed for each training event
● All participants must wear face mask when physical distancing is a challenge
● Each member will have to complete a COVID screening checklist before joining
● Each member will be temperature checked before beginning activities
● Priority will also be given to Handlers running dogs in the fall test
● Sign up portal will open the Monday leading up to training date

Training Location – Carnegie Beach Rd, Port Perry, ON L9L 1B6 | (44°12’15.7″N 78°51’49.3″W)

Training begins at 8 am sharp. Please be on time. Please come prepared with leashes, a collar, check cord, dog crate, birds (or cash) and WATER for you and your dog.

Birds are available for purchase (pigeons $7, chukars $10). If you require birds for training, please call or text Bryan Van Vugt prior to training day at 416-456-0580.

Fall 2020 Test
As we look beyond the summer and into fall testing, we will again commence with the necessary precautions for the safety of our members. All things are subject to change, but we will proceed with fall testing with similar physical distancing protocols.

Dates: Saturday, September 12th & Sunday, September 13th
Location: Birds EYE Game Farm – Meet at commuter parking lot, south of Exit 497 on the
401 Hwy (114 Purdy Road, Colborne, Ontario K0K 1S0)(44.0222, -77.9014)
Time: 7:30 am
Fees: Natural Ability Test – $170,
Utility Test – $190
How to Enter Test: Send completed test entry form along with Email Money Transfer (EMT)
payment to navhdatoronto@outlook.com. If EMT is unavailable, a cheque can be mailed or
dropped off at 523 Durham Hwy 47, Uxbridge Ontario, L9P 1R1.
LUNCH will not be served during the fall test due to Covid-19
Test entries are now being accepted exclusively to Toronto members until June 30th, 2020. As of July 1st, if room permits, we will open up entries to non-members of Toronto NAVHDA.
